More than One Major CCR Operating in the Park

At least two major Continuing Care Retirement facilities are open in the Park. One might be in the tri-lakes area or near Ticonderoga and another near Lake George. They offer three levels of care: independent living, assisted living, and nursing home care. Typically someone buys into such a facility when they are living independently and then take advantage of increasing levels of care as needed. Wake Robin in Vermont is a successful example.
