The advent of standardized State-wide testing has led to objective evidence that some of the Park's small schools are really good. The best schools (Keene, Newcomb, Minerva) are able to attract students from neighboring districts and keep their enrollments up. The race for quality is part of the strategy for survival of a small town's school.
